RED

Praise the One who paid my debt, and raises life up from the dead!

Today was RED today, talking about God's love and how Jesus' blood paid for our sin.
What a crazy day. We started off late because of some new registrations, but then we got on our feet got moving:)

Praise the Lord for these kids that memorized John 14:6-i am SO proud of Pasha, Jang, Nya, RJ, and Luis! They shared it on stage with everyone.

i think the songs have been the most fun part of the day...they're the part of the day that you can hear repeated over and over again, even after camp:) I praise God for songs and music with the kids!

Game time was fun, but also kinda hard to keep going strong. the kids were so HOT because it was humid and sticky out. All they wanted to do was be in the water.
So we sprayed them. threw balloons at them. anything to keep them going.
and they kept attacking the trashcan that had all the water balloons in them.

the lil guys were alot tamer, and were actually completely opposite of the big kids. most of them refused to play the water games!
so we played mostly dry games. and then took them to the play ground.

our leaders were all exhausted from the heat. and as gross as it sounds, they started poking holes in the water balloons and sucking out the water. haha.

the crafts have been interesting, because, well, we have alot more kids that we had planned for. So we've kinda been scrambling around trying to figure out crafts for that many kids, because we don't have enough supplies or projects for all of them.

i always have quite a few volunteers when i need stage presence. some of these kids are microphone addicted;).

after camp, palmer, one of our drivers, treated all the counselors out for lunch. what a treat! we went to pizza hut, and enjoyed a buffet. it was nice to sit down and talk with them!

here's most of our volunteer counselors. what a blessing they are! we couldn't do it without them!
oh, and Luis, of course:) i think he had fun being the only kid with all the highschoolers and jr. highers;)
